Masjid Taneem

Masjid e Taneem is a mosque also widely known as Masjid –e– Ayesha in honour of Prophet Mohammed’s (Peace Be Upon Him) wife Ayesha who had put on her Ihram (the garment for Pilgrimage) at this site and started her Hajj once.

The mosque is located only 5 miles away from the Holy Kaaba and acts as Migat, a station for putting on pilgrim’s clothing. This sizeable mosque has all the necessary facilities for ablution and changing accessible for pilgrimage and for regular prayers.
